A TWIST OF ORANGE FOR HUNGARY FOOTBALL’S EVERGREEN® ORDER

Budapest, Hungary - In 2019, Hungary’s new national football stadium, Puskás Aréna, was completed in Budapest. With over 67 thousand seats, the stadium was the site of the 2022 UEFA Europa League Final. In addition to league and national football matches of the Hungarian Football Federation, Puskás Aréna is also a multi-purpose stadium that plays host to concerts and conferences.

Puskás Aréna ordered 96 thousand square feet of COVERMASTER® EVERGREEN® Spectrum Turf Covers, which were produced in five sections. It not only provided football turf protection during changing weather conditions, it also helped accelerate turf growth by drawing in more heat and helping to increase ground temperature, in excess of 10°F (5.5°C). Five TARPMATE AIR® Rollers were also ordered for quick and easier installation, removal, and storage.
