Rishi Sunak Visits Net World Sports HQ, Wrexham

Net World Sports had the privilege of welcoming the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, to our headquarters in Wrexham for a momentous visit. The visit took place on the morning of 28th July, during which the Prime Minister actively engaged with the staff, participated in a dynamic Q&A session, and enjoyed an insightful tour of our 411,000 sq. ft office and warehouse, concluding with a spot of cricket.

The Q&A session proved to be an excellent opportunity for our employees to directly interact with the Prime Minister. All departments and members of the local community gathered to pose questions on an array of pertinent topics, including healthcare and inflation. The Prime Minister demonstrated his commitment to open dialogue and transparency, providing detailed insights into the governments policies and plans for addressing these crucial issues.

Following the engaging Q&A session, the Prime Minister embarked on a tour of our state-of-the-art office and expansive warehouse. During the tour, he praised our commitment to innovation, sustainable practices, and fostering a thriving work environment.

A highlight of the visit was the Prime Minister’s light-hearted involvement in some cricket. Armed with a FORTRESS Cricket Bat, the Prime Minister showed no hesitation in entering a cricket cage and defending the wickets from some world-class bowling from the Net World Sports team.

“We are honoured to have hosted the Prime Minister Rishi at Net World Sports. His willingness to engage with our staff and share valuable insights reflects his dedication to understanding the challenges faced by businesses and the public alike. I was delighted to witness his enthusiasm and determination in answering questions posed by the team and hope to welcome him back again in the future.”
