GMA Shortlisted for Prestigious AEO Industry Award
The Grounds Management Association (GMA) has been shortlisted for the Independent Event Organiser Award at the AEO Excellence Awards 2026.
The award recognises organisations delivering outstanding events and experiences across the UK exhibition industry, with the GMA shortlisted alongside a number of major and highly respected event organisers.
The nomination reflects the continued growth and impact of SALTEX, the GMA’s flagship event and Europe’s leading grounds management exhibition, which brings together thousands of industry professionals, volunteers, exhibitors and decision-makers each year.
As a not-for-profit association, the GMA reinvests revenue generated through SALTEX back into the industry, supporting skills development, education, advocacy and the future of the grounds management profession.
The AEO Excellence Awards celebrate achievement, innovation and best practice across the events industry, recognising the organisers, venues and teams shaping the future of live events.
Commenting on the shortlisting, Sarah Hunter, Event Director of GMA said:
“To be recognised alongside some of the UK’s most established event organisers is a fantastic achievement for the association and the SALTEX team. This shortlisting reflects the hard work, passion and commitment that goes into delivering an event that continues to support and unite the grounds management industry.”
SALTEX 2026 will take place on 11 and 12 November at the NEC Birmingham, marking the show’s landmark 80th edition under the theme ‘Rooted in History. Driving Progress.’
