Al Mason

Al Mason is the Development Director at LanGuard Ltd, one of the leading vegetation management contractors in the UK amenity sector.

He has worked in amenity and industrial markets for over 30 years. He started in product development bring new herbicides to market, then progressed through technical sales roles before joining LanGuard. He has also been a BASIS Advisor for many years and an expert examiner for hard surfaces and invasive weeds. He is one of the Invasive weed specialists at LanGuard and is a Property Care Association Certificated Surveyor in Japanese Knotweed.

Al played a leading role for LanGuard as the contractor engaged during the Thanet Weed Project researching non herbicide options for urban weed control and has continued looking into this aspect of the sector.
