lan became joined  the industry in 1999 when he left his engineering and sales career behind to venture into self- employment as a franchisee of Complete Weed Control.

In 2008 the opportunity to head up the national organisation presented itself and, in the years since, lan has been a vocal supporter of the amenity industry, with a keen interest in upholding standards within the sector.

Complete Weed Control covers the full spectrum of amenity weed control and associated services, and looks out for the interests of the entire membership in his role as Amenity Forum Chairman.
