Phil brings more than 30 years’ experience to his role, having held various roles across Essex County Cricket Club’s pitches. During his time at Essex County Cricket Club, Phil held a number of other roles helping the grounds management community, including being chair of the Essex Cricket Groundsman’s Association for 6 years, as well as being an ECB County Pitch Advisor for Essex. Phil’s depth of experience and knowledge helps local grounds staff improve and enhance the enjoyment of grassroots cricketers in the south of the country.
