Roger Davey is Managing Director and founder of Irritech Limited, Europe’s largest independent irrigation consultancy practice (the practice is 23-years old this year).

Roger has over 35-years experience in the irrigation industry and was past Chairman of the British Turf and Landscape Irrigation Association. Roger has also given seminars to regional BIGGA sections and Royal Institute of British Architects, and has written papers and presentations on turf irrigation practices, as well as having worked throughout Europe and the middle east, designing irrigation systems for golf courses, sports pitches, and landscape areas including public realm infrastructure, this includes some of the venues for the largest sporting events on the planet.

Water usage calculations, water resourcing, storage lake design and implementation are all part of the practices designing philosophy and such projects regarding water resourcing include water storage lakes at Burnham & Berrow Golf Club, Huntercombe Golf Club, The Berkshire Golf Club, and St Georges Hill Golf Club, as well as borehole implementation at Perranporth Golf Club, Marlborough Golf Club, and Knighton Heath Golf Club.
