ABOUT THE ZONE

The Community Sport Zone will showcase a range of grass pitch maintenance machinery which is of specific interest to grassroots and community football, rugby union and rugby league clubs - all of which can be purchased through funding schemes.

PRODUCTS ON SHOW

You’ll find Compact Tractors from ISEKI UK and New Holland in partnership with Campey Turf Care, rear roller mowers from Wessex and Trimax, combination grooming tools from SISIS, GKB and Greentek Solutions. Fleet Line Markers will have 3 machines on show while Dennis will have the FT interchangeable cassette system on display.

The machinery on display showcases frequently recommended equipment based on feedback from our Regional Pitch Advisors recommendations in grass pitch reports facilitated through the Football Foundation’s PitchPower web-based app.

The GMA’s Pitch Advisory Service works throughout the year to support sport’s National Governing Bodies in improving the quality of grass pitches across the country and at all levels of sport, with particular focus on community sport.

On Day 2 of SALTEX, there will be a guided tour with the GMA’s Regional Pitch Advisors who will take visitors around the show floor to see the exhibitors displaying more specialised equipment that might be used by contractors at community sport sites, ending with an explanation of equipment being displayed in the new Community Sport Zone.
