SALTEX 2024 will take place over two days, on Wednesday 30 October and Thursday 31  October 2024.  

Doors open at 9am both days and close at 5pm on Wednesday and 4pm on Thursday.

HOW TO GET THERE

CAR

Visitors from any direction can travel to the NEC site, near Birmingham, directly using the following motorways – M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll and M42 - just pop B40 1NT in your sat nav to get close, then follow the signs when you see them.

When you arrive at the NEC, look out for the show name you're visiting on our signs. After parking, simply jump on our free shuttle bus, or take a leisurely stroll along our signposted footpaths. 

On-site parking is available via the NEC website.

If you are a GMA member, you qualify for a FREE parking pass. 

The GMA member parking pass can be collected from the GMA hub with proof or disclosure of the specific membership number. Please do not pre-book or pay for your parking in advance of visiting our hub as we cannot offer refunds against prepaid parking fees.

The NEC is located a five-minute walk away from Birmingham International Railway Station.

Direct services run all day, however if you’re travelling from further afield you may need to catch a connecting train at Birmingham New Street, which is less than a 15-minute journey away.

BUS

Over 120 National Express and Megabus coach services run daily across the UK to Birmingham Airport.

From Birmingham Airport you can get to the NEC via the free air-rail link, which takes just 90 seconds and runs every two minutes.

If you arrive at the NEC using a Taxi or Private Hire provider, you will be dropped off at either the Piazza drop off and pick up area or the Atrium entrance.

At the end of your visit, you can either be picked up by the main entrance if using TOA Taxis, or if you are being picked up by other Taxi or Private Hire provider, you will need to go to the Private Hire pick up area. You will find one located at either the Piazza or Atrium, a short walk from the main entrances. The location of these is shown on the NEC site plan.

PLANE

Birmingham Airport is very close to the NEC. Simply take the free and fast air-rail link to Birmingham International Railway Station located at the upper level of Terminal 1. The train runs every two minutes and only takes 90 seconds. When you arrive just head straight through to the NEC.

BICYCLE & ON FOOT

BICYCLE & ON FOOT

There is a shared cycle footpath route to Birmingham International Railway Station and then the NEC is a short walk from there, it should take you about 10 minutes.
